Hi, I’m Patrick.

I’m a creative marketing writer and producer.

I work on cool stuff.

Sometimes that stuff is weird.

Space’s Deepest Secrets

We used real audio from NASA probes that captured various radiation near Jupiter. Yes, there is no sound in space, but the information captured by the probes is translated into sound by scientists, because it is easier to study in that form, and it's easier to use in a promo.

Blind Frog Ranch

I was able to go to the location and direct a shoot for this promo of a mysterious show. The footage we captured is a combination of interview and thematic metaphor that weaves together the puzzle pieces of enigmatic clips from this show.

Or eerie.

Naked and Afraid Solo

This campaign focused on the mental challenge of isolation in the wild. We partnered with an agency to create custom graphics that move in time with the track for an eerie effect. We also found a cameraperson to capture extra, first person footage to pair with the show footage and give us a glimpse inside the head of a contestant that's slowly losing it.

Ghost Adventures

I love to dig into the design process for all our in promo graphics, as well as design that appears outside of promo, like key art and title treatments. Here is an example of combining the two. We worked with the design team to integrate the show's key art title into our "draining lake bed" theme. You can tell a story and evoke a feeling with more than just footage.

Or funny.

Wreck the Halls

The end of the year is a time where tv networks will usually put together a programming stunt to attract greater viewer interest. Here is a stunt I came up with for Science Channel; which makes the most out its library of shows. I wrote a custom take on a holiday classic and had a music team compose it. We set that against some beautiful destruction and a good holiday was had by all.

Shark Week

Shark Week is always the biggest campaign of the year for our team. In this spot we created for social media, we show off our incredible host, John Cena. Combining the purpose shot foot of him with clips from 20+ different specials was a challenge, but worth it for the hilarious result.

And I made that cool stuff with these great brands.
